Do you offer student and young people's discounts on tickets?
Yes. Full time students receive £4 off the top 3 prices at certain performances. This discount also applies to anyone under the age of 25. Please see our brochure or enquire by calling our Ticket Sales team on 01722 320333. You may be asked for I.D. at the time of booking or collecting your tickets.
Can I exchange my tickets?
Tickets are sold as non-exchangeable. However, if you’re a Member of Salisbury Playhouse tickets may be exchanged for another performance of the same production. You must exchange your tickets 24 hours in advance of the original performance for which you have booked. If you can no longer use your tickets you can return them to the Ticket Office as a donation to the theatre.
Can I get a refund on my tickets?
Refunds are only available if a performance is cancelled. If you can no longer use your tickets you can return them to the Ticket Office as a donation to the theatre.
Do you accept and sell theatre vouchers?
We sell and accept Salisbury Playhouse Gift Vouchers which can be bought and used online or in person at Ticket Sales. You can also buy them over the phone and they can be posted out (UK only) to you. We also sell and accept National Theatre Gift Tokens but these can only be bought in person at Ticket Sales and cannot be used to purchase tickets online or over the phone, they must be used in person at Ticket Sales.
Can I sit my child on my lap and not purchase a ticket for them?
For most Theatre For Families productions children 18 months or under can attend for free (For licensing reasons an ‘under 18 months’ ticket must booked). However, some productions are aimed at certain ages and children under 18 months may be charged.
Can I bring a baby with me to a performance?
Children 18 months or under can attend free of charge to a pantomime and certain Theatre For Families productions (For licensing reasons an ‘under 18 months’ ticket must booked). However, some productions are aimed at certain ages and children under 18 months may be charged. Please enquire at Ticket Sales if unsure. Some productions also have minimum age recommendations.
How do I find out how long the show will be?
For most productions the running time isn’t known until shortly before the production opens. You can check the running time of a performance via our website on the production page under booking details. Alternatively, you can call Ticket Sales on 01722 320333.
Is strobe lighting used at the theatre?
Some productions include strobe lighting, flashing lights and other effects. Information regarding any use of strobe lighting will be signed in the foyer. You can also ask at Ticket Sales if you are unsure.
What is a Free Post Show Talk?
A Post Show Talk is an opportunity for audiences to question the cast and creative teams of productions.It usually follows an evening performance and can last up to 30 minutes depending on how many questions are asked.
Is there parking at the theatre?
Directly behind the theatre is Salisbury’s Central Car Park (postcode SP1 3SL) offering long-stay and short-stay parking. It is free after 6pm. Culver Street Car Park (a 10 minute walk from the Playhouse) is free from 3pm on weekdays and all day on Sundays and Bank Holidays.

Do you offer pre-show meals?
Yes. A seasonally changing menu of delicious hot food is available to order from the Foyer Cafe from 5.30pm on performance evenings (last pre-show order 6.45pm) and prior to matinees. See Food & Drink.
Can I use a credit/debit card when purchasing refreshments at the bar?
Yes but a minimum of £5 must be spent in order to use a card.

How do I sign in as a Member to book my ticket offers?
Once on the booking page for your chosen show, you can sign in with your email address and password on the left hand side of the page. If you are using a mobile or tablet the sign in may appear at the top of the page. You can then continue with your booking and your Members ticket offers will be available after you select your seats. Please ensure you sign in before you start the booking process.
I have signed in but I am still unable to book my ticket offers – what can I do?
Please ensure that you sign in using the email address registered with your Membership or you will not be recognised as a Member and your ticket offers will not be available to you. If you are unsure of the details you have registered with us, please call our Members direct line on 01722 345 161.
