Salisbury Musical Society perform Elgar's The Kingdom with Chelsea Opera Group Orchestra conducted by David Halls, Director of Music at Salisbury Cathedral.

Following 'The Dream of Gerontius' and 'The Apostles', Elgar was commissioned to produce another large oratorio for the 1906 Birmingham Festival. This was 'The Kingdom', a beautiful and moving work which continues the narrative of the lives of Jesus's disciples.
