Salisbury Chamber Chorus is joined by assistant organist at Winchester Cathedral Claudia Grinnell for a performance of Fauré’s celebrated Requiem.


Also in the programme are Fauré’s Cantique de Jean Racine, Four Motets from Gesualdo’s Tenebrae Responsories, organ works by Grison, Vierne and Gigout, and McEnery’s Everyone Sang. Grinnell was the organ scholar at Salisbury Cathedral until July this year. Salisbury Chamber Chorus has been recently feted for their performances in Salisbury and London of their musical director Simon McEnery’s new work, Space Time Matter Energy.


The concert is raising funds for Community First, Wiltshire's Rural Community Council, on behalf of the High Sheriff of Wiltshire, Lady Marland, and is generously supported by the James Dyson Foundation.
