Can't Buy Me Love

16 December 2015 - 16 January 2016 The Salberg
Can't Buy Me Love

About

A musical journey from rags to riches...

The Christmas musical shows in The Salberg have become a tradition over recent years with evenings such London Calling, Spread a Little Happiness and last year’s Come Fly With Metransporting audiences away from the cold winter weather for a few hours of song and dance.

This year’s production is Can’t Buy Me Love – a musical journey following everyone’s dreams from rags to riches and beyond and celebrating what would happen if we did have all that money could buy.

The show includes popular songs such as We’re in the Money, Big Spender, Who Wants to be a Millionaire? and Brother Can You Spare Me a Dime, and even comes up to date with LunchMoney Lewis’ Bills (don’t worry if you don’t know it – you won’t be able to get it out of your head by the end of the evening!).

The talented cast of musical performers includes Kieran Buckeridge (swapping his dame costume from appearing in the last three Playhouse pantos), Susannah Van Den Berg (Guys and Dolls), Christine Holman (Sweeney Todd) and Tomas Wolstenholme (Once The Musical).

For a festive night out, you won’t get better value for money than Can’t Buy Me Love.
