About

THURSDAY 2 – SATURDAY 25 FEBRUARY

Rachel and Scott have big plans – new jobs, a new home and a lavish wedding. As the recession bites, however, something will have to give.

With hopes of a dream wedding receding, Rachel’s mother hatches a brilliant plan. What if the family joins forces to give the couple a day to remember? With a marquee in the back garden, the pub band and two almost fully functioning portable toilets, surely the day will pass without a hitch?

Following its sell-out premiere in 2014, Salisbury Playhouse’s hit comedy is back!

Chris Chibnall is a stage and television writer who created ITV’s Broadchurch and from 2018 will be Head Writer and Executive Producer of BBC TV’s Doctor Who.
