Trusts and Foundations

Charitable trusts and foundations play a vital role in supporting all aspects of our work at Salisbury Playhouse. From helping us to support emerging talent and produce brand new work to enabling our innovative community and outreach programmes, which connect the local community and support the next generation of theatre-makers.

Here are just a few areas of our work which can benefit from the support of trusts and foundations:

Artist Development As one of the major producing houses in the South West, it is a priority for Salisbury Playhouse to find new ways to develop relationships with emerging theatre makers.

Original Drama Salisbury Playhouse is committed to producing new work by commissioning the very best writers in our region, to help ensure that the South West voice has a strong presence on the ‘national stage’.

Take Part Learning and participation is central to the work of Salisbury Playhouse and is key to our audience development and community engagement ambitions. We have three distinctive strands of work within the Take Part programme: Creative Learning, Community and our Stage 65 Youth Theatre.

If you are involved with a grant making trust or foundation and would like to learn more about our work at Salisbury Playhouse, please do get in touch as we are always happy to discuss the projects and programmes that would benefit from your support.

We are also always delighted to welcome trustees and other representatives of grant makers to Salisbury Playhouse, to see our productions and activities.
