Reviews
Back to topMind the Gap, is going to work with its Salisbury Playhouses’ expansive youth theatre (5-25): Stage '65. The groups have identified the 1960s as a key time, the youth theatre was founded, and new worlds were opening or arriving in Wiltshire: immigration and ethnic diversity, new culture, new builds, new careers and gender opportunities...and the rise of the teenager. This is an opportunity to bring Wiltshire's wider community together in commemoration and celebration, making history accessible to everyone. A chance to find hidden and lost stories, contextualize human experience against historic backdrops and use heritage to create a new piece of art, documenting it for future generations.
If you have any stories about the Wiltshire through the 1960’s, then please email the Participation Assistant, Eugenia Whitby, on participation3@salisburyaplayhouse.com, expressing your interest and what your story is about and contact details.
