Elegant divorcees Elyot and Amanda are on honeymoon with their new spouses... in adjacent hotel suites. A chance encounter on their balconies, on the first night of their new lives reminds them that they can't live together - and that they can't live apart.

Noël Coward's passionate and witty love story, glittering with razor-sharp dialogue, remains one of the most successful and popular comedies ever written.

Private Lives reunites the Playhouse's Artistic Director Philip Wilson with designer Colin Falconer and lighting designer Chris Davey, the creative team behind the much admired 2009 production of The Winslow Boy.
